Our chief end is to glorify God, and enjoy Him forever.

The last remaining church in Ashley disbanded in 2020, leaving a noticeable hole in the community. For three years, we prayed about planting a new church in Ashley. In January of 2024, a handful of people began meeting at the Lantern Pub for Bible study. We quickly moved to the former Methodist building whenever we needed more space. On December 1, 2024, before a packed auditorium, we formally covenanted together as Church of the Redeemer, particularizing as a local, autonomous congregation under the Lordship of Christ.

Just as Jesus resurrected from the dead on the third day, the Lord resurrected His church from the ashes in Ashley. We have been redeemed. We are a body of born again believers; redeemed by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, for the glory of God alone.
